A view of Double Standards (see slurl below)Just a quick break from my usual ramblings to mention this weekend's (commencing 29.05.09) trivia spectacular down at 'Double Standards' in the region of Mayon where brave competitors (myself included ) will face a barrage of questions based on their own chosen specialist subjects and general knowledge.
Back in April I was lucky enough to triumph against some stiff opposition to claim the title of 'Smartasstermind' at the first event of this kind. Whether I'll be able to do so again, having chosen a different subject, I don't know.

As usual Hummingbird Forster and her team will be working hard to make the event fun. And of course the audience get their usual chance to win a few lindens too.

The list includes well known trivia regulars many of whom organise their own regular events so the competition should be fierce !!
The event loosely follows the format of long running british tv quiz series 'Mastermind' with each competitor answering 10 questions on a chosen subject and a further 10 on general knowledge.
Humm is particualrly generous with the prizes - as I can testify - and hopefully this event will continue for some time to come.
And theres always lots to do and see at the venue as Humm goes out of the way to keep 'Double Standards' packed with a variety of great games and shops full of assorted goodies for the discerning SL shopper.....

We're coming for you this time and we'll make sure you don't keep your title! Well maybe not me- I'm looking to be charitable and save anyone else the embarrassment of coming last.
